Last Dinosaurs – Weekend

“I’d die for you any day; my life’s over anyway.”

Youthful Brisbane four-piece, Last Dinosaurs recently dropped their debut album, In a Million Years. In my humble opinion, it’s one of the best indie albums to come out of Australia in a long time.

The band are known to write catchy, meaningful songs that accentuate each member’s instrumental proficiencies, so treat yourself to a listen. I love Lachlan’s shredding, Sean’s feel-good riffs and I’ve been big on the track, Weekend, ever since the moment I heard them play it live at good ol’ Spectrum.

PS: Whenever I see these guys hit the stage, watch how they interact with others, and having had a quick chat of my own, it’s hard to believe that the eldest member is barely 22… the youngest just 18.

They’re amiable boys who love life and music. Now support them already, k?

I’ll take you to the PARK.
I’ll take you to the OCEAN.
I’ll kiss you ’til it’s DARK.
Go through all the motions!
