Sydney and its appointed curator Dan Single farewelled the Aussie Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project crate in lavish style. Sydney and its appointed curator Dan Single farewelled the Australian Nightlife Exchange Project crate in lavish style at Smirnoff’s send-off party, after weeks of voting in and packing it with the best elements of Aussie after-dark culture.

We discovered Australia is set to exchange our nightlife trends and treasure with Brazil! So Sydney, make sure you’re ready to samba and cachaça on November 27 when 13 other countries join us to simultaneously throw the world’s biggest party and experience tasting another party scene different to their own culture.

Sydney’s alluring nightlife in particular is the result of a unique combination of elements coming together; our arts, underground music, fashion, sought-after climate, diverse food, pop-up bars and multiculturalism is what sets us apart from the rest. I captured this culture in a video below (which also includes the highlights of the send-off party).

Watch the shortened version on Lost at E Minor

Many thanks to the lovely Henry Holland (Eleventh Commandment), Oriana De Luca (Tiki Lounge), Alex Grigg (Red Riders), Australia’s finest Meggs, Emma Daniels (Dear Pluto), the ever-illustrious Gatot, the super-fit Mealsie and Dave, and Sam Macrae for sharing your perspective on Sydney!

To Australia’s 3D specialist Karl Dorman… I appreciate your assistance so much; you always bring out the best in me. Duncan Byrne, you cool cat. Bobby Townsend… get ready for foreign partying, again!

Big props to all the amazing artists/producers below for blessing my video with such fine sound!
