I am loving Sydney’s freshly opened Dear Pluto vintage store, brought to you buy the bargain hunting duo whom previously ran the famed Hibernian House sales.

Although situated in the heart of Surry Hills, this little gem is tucked away and can be found if you venture merrily up a narrow alleyway just off Devonshire Street (directly behind Crown).

The interior is quirky; everything is aptly positioned throughout a clean, minimalist layout. The stock, racks and stairwell alone remind me of Sydney’s dearly missed Diva’s Closet vintage couture showroom by a very loved friend, Regina Evans. Matter of fact, Dear Pluto is probably one of my few favourite vintage stores in Sydney since DCs roamed Paddington territory. It’s no wonder it’s so reminiscent of that noteworthy place.

Dear Pluto offers an impressive cross-section of goods. Everything from dazzling shoes, hand-bags, sunglasses, jewellery and scarves to hand-picked attire for men and women are ready to be picked up for next to nothing. Being Darlinghurst-based, the appealing prices make this store so flock-worthy. Imagine prices sitting somewhere between an op-shop and a retail outlet. Most items will set you back $20 or under.

So if you want good vintage, head to Pluto. It’s only open on the weekends, so rush in and bring your truck or trailer because this is a continuous end-of-week sale you don’t want to miss. Okay, okay… I’m slightly exaggerating, but I can assure you, however, that the trek here is worth it. If you want a golden egg find, you’ll come across one here.
