In a nut shell: The Smirnoff Nightlife Exchange Project carefully selected 14 capital cities across six continents for their unique nightlife – and Sydney is one of them!

Each capital city was appointed with a respected nightlife figure to curate a nightlife crate full of the best elements of that country’s after dark culture and exchange it with another country for a finale party on November 27th so party-goers can get a taste of another scene!

Next Thursday October 21st, our Australian curator Dan Single of Ksubi/Bang Gang fame will reveal the anticipated contents of Australia’s nightlife crate as voted by Aussie locals. I’m guessing there’s lots of eskies, sausage sizzles, street art, indie bands, dance moves, fashion trends, shots, hairstyle and warehouse parties being voted in!

Dan will also announce the foreign country Australia is set to pair up and “exchange” nightlife crates with next month – which could be any global city in Argentina, South Africa, Germany, India, Lebanon, Poland, Thailand, Venezuela, the USA, South Africa, Brazil, Thailand or Great Britain.

Aston Shuffle, Australia’s inthemix50 polled #1 DJ for 2010, is headlining the Send Off Party along with additional DJ sets by Sneaky Sound System’s Angus McDonald joined by Dan Single himself!
