Laurie’s Vegetarian in Bondi
If you know me, you know I get super excited about things I’m passionate about and won’t endorse trash.
So I’m pumped to share one of my favourite places to eat out in Sydney called Laurie’s Vegetarian. The simple, easy on the pocket shop located on the beach end of Bondi’s main strip offers the most delicious, home-made tasting food I’ve ever tried. Every dish tantalizes my taste buds and the gym junkie in me adores the fact that it’s so healthy.
A medium bowl will set you back $6.50, which you can liberally fill with a combination of morsels ranging from chickpea curry, couscous salad, cauliflower korma, roasted vegies, Persian rice, wholegrain lasagne and bean casseroles to name a few. The atmosphere is very chilled, making it an ideal hot spot to catch up with friends after work, when nobody has any inclination to cook.

Wow… how long have you known of this? I so had it down on my list of places to go check out while I was in Sydney, but never did as I didn’t end up going over Bondi way. I guess it is the place you had the salad at you were telling me about before.
So cool you like it! I was going to have a shot of the tempeh (or possibly tofu) burger with Satay, amongst other things (such as Samosas, etc). Not sure if you’ve tried Tempeh yet, so maybe have a go next time if they still have them!
Oh no, really? I’m so sorry. I would’ve taken you there if I had known.
I absolutely love silken or firm tofu… had Agedashi today! Too bad you can’t eat that; it’s got bonito flakes (fish) to garnish the sauce. Extremely delish!
